On January 22, 2025, the seminar "Beyond the Machine: The Cultural Implications of Artificial Intelligence" will be held in Turin, in which Octavio Kulesz, philosopher and UNESCO expert in the fiels of Ethics of AI, will explore the bidirectional relationship between culture and AI, emphasizing that integrating cultural perspectives into AI governance is essential not only for the survival of the creative sectors but also for preserving the technology’s depth and meaningfulness.

 

The event is part of the Nexa Lunch Seminar series, organized by the Nexa Center for Internet & Society of the Polytechnic University of Turin. The seminar will be held from 1 to 2 pm at the Nexa Center for Internet and Society in Via Boggio 65/a, Turin (1st floor), but it can also be followed remotely, or recovered later on the Center's YouTube channel.
