Membership

The research centre "Digital Scholarship for the Humanities" (DISH) has been founded by 9 Departments of the University of Turin:

  • Department of Computer Science
  • Department of Cultures, Politics and Society
  • Department of Foreign Languages, Literatures and Modern Cultures
  • Department of Historical Studies
  • Department of Humanities
  • Department of Law
  • Department of Philosophy and Education Sciences
  • Department of Psychology
  • Interuniversity Department of Regional and Urban Studies and Planning

Founding departments designate their representatives to the Scientific Board.

 

Membership to the Centre is regulated according to Art. 3 of the Centre Regulations.

 

Other departments at the University of Turin or at other national or international universities, as well as research centres, cultural and scientific organizations, can also be member of DISH following a decision by the Scientific Board.

 

Individual membership is open to professors, researchers and staff interested in the domain of Digital Humanities. The applicant should submit an application letter to the President of the Centre.

 

Affiliate membership is also open to PhD students, scholarship fellows and other suitably qualified researchers.
